While waiting at the Secretary of State (known as the DMV in most states) I looked down to see the 4G icon on my screen. Speed test!!! My download speed was 12.97Mbps! As suddenly as it appeared, it was gone. Back to 3G. Must have been a test for Thursday.

I'm looking forward to the extension of LTE coverage to Lapeer (at least I HOPE they extend it to Lapeer). Coverage is fantastic in Sterling Heights, and my download speeds usually exceed 30 Mbps.:cool:

I wonder if flint LTE will help my lake Orion LTE. I'm about 45 miles south. I get 4g just can't hold it. My thinking is LTE in flint town and LTE in the heart of the D. I'm right in the middle of it all. But for some reason I doubt it. Lol..

I recently traveled from Davison to Sterling Heights (M-15 -> I-75 -> M-59) and didn't get a solid 4G signal until I was south of Pine Knob/Sashabaw. I hope L.O. doesn't end up in no-man's land :eek:

OK, now THIS is strange... I'm sitting at my dining room table in S.H., and I've just lost 4G for the first time since I purchased the phone in early May. For a few seconds, my weather clock showed "current location" instead of the correct city name, and displayed no weather data. Something must be going on with the network today.

Think your right. My internet connection is a touch slower today. I hope it leads to good things! Also had a reboot 5min ago.

I installed the MR2 on Friday and have not had a single reboot (that I'm aware of). So far so good.

I can't get the phone to boot into the bootloader. It just powers up as normal, but in safe mode. What am I doing wrong?

Power up with the power button and volume-down simultaneously with the zip file posted earlier in the root directory of your SD card.

That's what I've been trying for the past half-hour, and all it does is boot into safe mode. Strange!

If you don't normally see the file extension (such as .zip or .jpg of your files) in Windows Explorer, then remove the ".zip" from your file name and try again.

It worked... I rebooted and held power + vol down, rather than powering off first.

And Sprint still doesn't offer their version of 4G in DETROIT. I'm glad I decided to stay with Big Red!

They sure don't. And not a freakin word about when it may happen. It's no wonder they're not making any money. Although most of the problem is the goofy company that's supposed to be doing the rollout. Clearwire is a joke, the best thing Sprint could do is find another company and start their Lte rollout. How do you not cover a market with 4.4 million people? Bad business. Like I said, no wonder they're not making money and losing customers.

No kidding. It stopped one of my buddies who was considering an upgrade to an EVO. He'd rather stay with his BB until Sprint gets its act together.

I can not wait until it makes its way up to Port Huron!!! I went down to Shelby Township and got to try out 4G for a little bit. Good lord it's fast!

On the way to work the 4G icon came back on while going through the downtown area. Then it was back to 3G again. Hope it is not an indication of how limited the LTE area will be tomorrow.

North of Port Huron (toward Lakeport and Lexington) I had no signal of any kind, so I'd just settle for an extension of existing coverage for our trips to the beach!

In this area (Sterling Heights, Shelby Twp, Troy, Rochester Hills) coverage is outstanding and downloads are blazing fast!
