LTE reception

Hey folks;
Is anyone noticing poor LTE reception on their V30? What I noticed about mine before I sent it back:

1. I was getting '1-2 bars' where other folks would get full strength on the same carrier, in an area that I have had great reception in the past. Using apps such as LTE discovery showed that reception was cutting in and out a lot.

2. HSPA reception was much better when set manually.

3. The phone would not go back to HSPA on its own when LTE reception was poor, leading me to lose data.

4. Other folks in my area on the V30 are seeing the same.

I did the obvious such as get a new SIM, etc. I also recognize that different phones will report signal 'bars' differently, so an app such as LTE discovery that shows signal strength is better. I don't have readings for that right now, but I was told they were on the edge of normal. I also ruled out any settings I might have messed with on the phone, etc.

Can anyone who has seen a difference in LTE reception let me know if they have seen the same? It might be a while before I get the V30 back in my hands, unfortunately.

Sounds like you are on GSM, I know that Sprint users are reporting issues, too, and that is holding me back from buying one.

Interesting. Is there any more reading I can do to see what they are experiencing? I can find a little discussion of Sprint on the howard forums for the V30. I'm in an area that has great coverage and available bandwidth all across the spectrum from what I can tell. Other devices also getting great reception through walls here, etc.
