Wow! YOu got 43! I have been averaging 18-20 or so often over 20 download speeds but haven't hit that high yet. Used it so far in LA, San Diego, Vegas and tomorrow Chicago

There are a variety of factors that go into those speeds. Such as how close you may be to the cell site, potential interference items, how many other customers are using LTE at that cell site, etc.

With low penetration of customers with LTE devices you'll find good speeds right now. Once Apple releases an LTE iPhone the days of 40+mb will be gone....

I just came over from Verizon and the galaxy nexus. While the speeds are definitely faster right now its not really a fair comparison. I was seeing these speeds when the thunderboltcame out last year. Now its anywhere between 8 and 20. However here in dfw AT&T just has more widespread LTE coverage. I was always bouncing between EVDO and LTE and indoors was almost always on vzw's slow 3g. Not the case with AT&T. Been locked on to LTE since I got the HOX. Very happy so far.

Glad I stayed with ATT. They bribed me with cheaper monthly bill to the point of making me stay. Am impressed with the LTE speeds so far and they have LTE in almost every city I travel to!
