Lg lucid won't root. What's the problem

I tryed almost every link. Ill try that clockwork. Do i need internet to root?

So i i did the clockworkmod and now i got files in the upper right corner displaying and on my comp i pretty much got the same results when i try rooting. Link failed no such file or directory. /System/bin/sh: cannot create /data/local.prop: permission denied crap. What do i need to do. Im all about optimization.

i did a factory reset and it got rid of the scripts, desabled the verizon permissions, factory reset the comp and now waiting for my phone to charge then going to try again.

I was finally able to root it using the specrum ics root link i found. Now that im rooted do i do the clockwork recovery and delooper install next?
