My girlfriend and I both got Galaxy J3 Luna Pros for Christmas. They're our first smartphones. I have a question about the screen. I'm guessing it's not gorilla glass? Does it have any kind of scratch protection? I already have a case for it, but I'm wondering if I need to add a screen protector? I'm not worried about dropping and cracking the screen as much as just scratching it during use. During winter months my fingers get pretty dry and scratchy and she puts her phone in her purse, so I wonder if the screen scratches easily?
I've tried putting screen protectors on tablets before and it's always a nightmare for me. It would be nice if I could just avoid a screen protector entirely, but I'm not sure how easy it is to scratch these screens.
EDIT: I see cnet lists this model as having "Corning Gorilla Glass (scratch resistant glass)", but I'm not sure it's accurate? It lists the tracfone as having FM radio and that's not true because I installed nextradio and it doesn't work unless connected to wifi. So I know their info isn't accurate.
