M2 keeps turning off when on charge....

My daughters phone since updating to kitkat when on charge it seems to turn it's self off and won't turn on until I press power and volume up button till it vibrates and then it turns on, it's done it twice since updating. Anyone else having this problem, do you thing it's a bug with the update and maybe another update in due course could fix the problem?

have you tried repairing the phone via pc companion
