I am not sure is going on with my phone, but recently I can not take a picture that looks remotely clear. Every photo is cloudy and looks like garbage. My wife even had something to say and it. Does anybody else have a similar issue?
I might have to get rid of this phone is I can't take any pictures...but don't want to spend the $400 to finish my payments.

Most likely it's the film on the lens being scratched. I haven't heard a definitive reason why it's there, but it's easily cleaned off and doesn't seem to have any negative effects. I personally used a Magic Eraser on mine and it's crystal clear again. Other people have used different methods like a q-tip and rubbing alcohol, toothpaste, or the edge of a credit card. There's a big thread about it here:

I had the same issue, noticed a couple of scratches on the lens, which were impacting the photos I was taking so I tried to remove the lens film, but it only made it worse. I ended up with a totally unusable rear camera.

Aim white light on the camera lens, if it reflects green, then the film is still there. If that's the case, then just take a piece of soft fabric, and use it to gently rub the lens in a continuous circular motion.
