mac root

I am mac user and try to root on my samsung fascinate. I tried to follow Cory's instruction from this site and video and it won't work. I am not sure why. Can anyone help me please? thanks

Can you give a little more detail? How far do you get into the procedure?

I tried to extract the 4 files in the attached RAR to this folder and download fasicnate rar and didn't work. Am I suppose to make new files?
