So this morning I have my phone on a shelf above my macbook air. My cat jumps up on the surface and knocks the TB off the shelf and on to the edge of the macbook air, which apparently, has REALLY sharp edges. So, I am standing there, right? I react quickly and try and grab it and only makes it come in contact with the sharp edges of the macbook more and eventually, I can't catch it and I let it drop all the way on to the hardwood floor. There are now dents and gnashes on the aluminum, kickstand, back cover, and sides. I know this is from the edges of the macbook. *Sigh*, At this point I look at my phone in dismay and realize because I am not reacting, I'm in shock. BRAND NEW PHONE, mulled! Luckily, the screen wasn't affected very much. I realize what just happened, and I'm practically shaking. I keep thinking, OMG, its like $600 for a new one!!!! I realize I have the insurance, calm down, and go online to see what the insurance can do for me. I realize I can replace it for $99 and I stopped having a panic attack. Yes, I realize that my phone didn't break. But I am very OCD when it comes to keeping my gadgets nice and I like to be able to resell them at upgrade time. I always keep my phones naked because I think a case ruins the experience and I am super careful and have never done anything like this or even ever dropped my phone like once. When this new one comes tomorrow, Otterbox defender ASAP.
I never realized how sharp the edges on a macbook are. Steve Jobs is EVIL!! He probably designed my macbook just to murder my TB. UGH! Haha!
So, I thought I would just share this incident and vent a little. Sorry for the drama!
PLEASE, NO COOL STORY BRO's!
