Made mistake of picking Device ALWAYS for place to find sound

I wanted to change the sound for a notification in my messenger app and it came up as to where to find the sound and usually has either the device or my Zedge app and then you can pick either just once or always. I sadly picked ALWAYS - I need it to go back to having a choice. Please help.

Welcome to the forums. You need to clear defaults for the app that you selected as 'Always'. The right app will depend on which model you have. In my phone I can do that in settings - apps - menu - show system - select Media Storage - clear defaults.

Another way to get the selection menu again is installing a different app that can perform that same action or uninstalling and installing Zedge back.
