I just got a chance to play with the tmo version and man is it a nice phone. I was having doubts but it was so fast and smooth compared to about every phone i used. Cant wait ti get my vzw one soon.

I also went to a tmo yesterday and played with one. It's a really nice phone and super smooth. With live wallpapers going (even bubbles) it didn't stutter. My Gnex lags like crazy under the stuff that the GS3 handled with no issues.

I do wish I had ordered the white... not really digging the pebble purple.

I was also impressed with how thin this phone is.

I didn't like the fake brushed metal look and purple hue of the blue one so I went with the white. Either color would be fine with a case but it is too bad this didn't come in black.

I agree the one in store had all kinds of crap downloaded to it and it didn't stutter once, where my nexus and my maxx even with ICS stutter. I think the S4 is really a great chip and not like previous snapdragon chips that could not handle the very resource intensive tasks users throw at it.

On the contrary the people are picking the blue over the white, if you go to the search forums and type in blue vs white. You will find polls that were taking, most people are picking the blue over the white. If your order the blue, I believe you will be happy with the blue!!

I too took a look at the phone. I didn't get a chance to play with it but I sure am glad I didn't go with the blue. I was so tempted cause I love the color BLUE but this phone is NOT blue, Pebble Purple is more like it.

All the polls r not what is better looking it's witch one they picked many just picked blue but really seeing it in real Im so happy I got white too.

Well if you read the threads of people who purchase the blue were happy they purchased the blue. One poster stated that the blue makes the phone look expensive than the white. Let's see if you feel that way when your phone gets dirty.

Or maybe he was just saying that because he bought the blue and had to stick with it, so he was making himself feel better. Who really cares in the long run, just let everyone like what color they got and call it a day!

I had a white iPhone only because I got it for cheap off of eBay and didn't mind it nearly as much as I thought I would. I think the main thing that swayed me to the white is that I kept reading that the blue S III is a fingerprint magnet and I never put a case on my phones.

Meanwhile I've seen reviews that said the white shows fingerprints more than the blue. So for every statement made there's an equal and opposite statement out there. Nobody will know for sure until we see the phones themselves. This whole thread has reached the point of absolute absurdity.

I went to the Sprint store, today, to finally lay my eyes on this phone, in person. I purposely ordered the white phone because, in photos, the pebble blue did look purplish to me. However, in person, the phone did not look purple, at all, and I think most people will be happy with the blue color choice.

Other than the smooth nature of the phone, I was really impressed by the screen. I have handled the HTC One X, as well, but I think I prefer the deep blacks of the AMOLED display. It was so vibrant... probably the most impressive screen I have ever seen. Can't wait to get this phone from Verizon.

Weird, because I couldn't. And a lot of other people couldn't. I thought it was definitely blue and the metal like finish made it look really nice. The home button is purpleish, but not as bad as the pictures make it look.

For those people who are scared that the phone is purple, go in and see it for yourself before listening to anyone online. It seems to be based on your eye perception, because I didn't see a hint of purple on the one I looked at.

Just saw the phone at a sprint store. Wow I am happy I went with the blue. The white looks very cheap to me. The blue was amazing, it definitely does have a purple hue to it but it's very nice, and the metallic finish gives it a premium feel. The phone fit perfectly in my hand and the phone was blazing fast throughout. Hurry up Verizon!
