So yesterday while I was testing Maps and watching my phone reboot, for a brief second I noticed I had 4G at my house!!

It was just Sunday that 4G was still 10 miles from my house. I am posting some speed tests and a result. The really slow wifi reading was when I was streaming HD Netflix to my TV.

Oh, but on a side note, there is a Razr Maxx in the house and it is not picking up 4G. After what I went through to get ICS, and now with Maps, I want to say, "neener, neener," but I will be nice! LOL! I know this Maxx is not set for CDMA only so who knows why it is not detecting LTE here because it does elsewhere.

You are getting some good speeds there. I'm glad you finally have 4G at home :) I have played with pretty much every 4G phone Verizon offers and none of them seem to have the same reception strength as the Rezound. They would constantly revert to 3G as well. I'm definitely not in a rush to buy a different phone even if it is the latest one out. *cough* SGIII sucks *cough* :p

Try removing the SIM on the Maxx for a couple of minutes. See if that helps.
4g is awesome. Have had in Cave Creek just about 2 months now.

4G sure does come in handy when you are on a slow wifi.

I was at my sister's in Peoria today and her area has had 4G for a while. I was trying to be the first to upload some birthday party pictures to Facebook and Facebook was giving me that little spinning wheel. I said, to heck with this! Logged off the wifi and had the pictures posted in no time!! :D

This test was from earlier at her house. This speed was a bit faster than my speed at home yesterday. Pretty fast!

4G is pretty amazing... we just got it turned up where I live this week!!! The speeds are better than my 30Mbps cable modem!

Another option would be to contact VZW... one of my co-workers had very intermittent 4G service well everyone else had amazing service, VZW sent him a new SIM card and when we installed it Friday morning everything cleared up and worked perfectly.

And magically 4G has appeared on the Maxx while in the house! LOL!

Didn't have to mess with the sim card ... it just happened!

Heck yeah you should have!!!

Yeah My 4G at work suck but I know why (secure facility with lots of things to kill a wireless signal in here...

At home I scream into the 40's which is hard to decide if i want my home connection or other since they both are 40's lol

I totally should have neenered. I did smirk once, so at least I did something ... LOL!

Oh, and I tested my phone last night on the way home from work and I only pick up the 4G about a mile northwest from my house, so I barely got in on this last update. And yes, in the 40s is totally screaming!!

Cool. Just know if ever an issue removing sim briefly helps. Battery too but unfortunately can't on the maxx

I suppose that if the bandwidth is opened up streaming adapts and pushes more. Didn't you mention that netflix does that?

Good thing we aren't in the third world... What kinda speeds do they have?
