Magnetic holders + Wireless Charging and NFC

I like using a magnetic holder but this is my first wireless charging and Samsung pay capable device. Is anyone else here using magnetic holders wireless charging?

I picked up a Samsung slim fabric case and slipped a small metal plate in-between by the bottom of the phone. So far it seems to work for everything but I'm wondering if I could get diminished charging performance or finicky NFC payments.

I use one and have had no problems, as long as the metalplate does not slide upwards you should be fine.

The only issue I see the way your doing it is the magnet not being centered, causing the phone to fall off, rotate, just move around more since it isn't balanced.

It charges and I made a few samsung pay purchases today. One of which failed to work. But those are the same odds I get with my S3 watch working.

I'm using a little plate but I think I'll need to usea larger one to secure to the holder a little better.

I installed the Ampere app to monitor charging. With or without the metal plate it seems to peak at 660 mA. I would assume that means it's not interfering any. On wired it maxes out over 1000 mA.

The plate is approximately covering the bottom 1/5th of the phone.
