When I got the phone I checked (via a compass app I installed) and it was working. A few days later I was trying to use another compass app (have a few of them) and noticed erratic sensing of the magnetometer and tried to recalibrate it. I didn't check it again until shortly before writing this, when I noticed that it was no longer working.
My questions are:
> Is there any way to jump-start it?
> What could cause it to stop?
> Is it a Line Replaceable Unit (LRU); can I do a surgical transplant with the magnetometer in my other Samsung phone (GT-I8262)?
Your help will be appreciated highly as I'm madly in love with the SGN3 (I prefer it over the SGN4, SGN5 and SGN7 because none of them have humidity and thermometer sensors flanking their barometers). Thanks.
