Mail app no longer working?

I noticed yesterday that my Mail app no longer seems to work... It just hangs forever on "Loading mail...". I don't understand why this started happening suddenly. Anyone else have (or have had) this problem? Any idea on how to fix it?

Is your phone stock or have you flashed a rom? I've had that happen in the past but a restart fixed it. Does it look like your mobile network is connected 3g/4g? Try to give a bit more information so the people here can try to help. Software, radio, etc...

I'm on stock, data connection seems fine. Normally, I open the mail app to manually sync it, and then I back out of it and browse the Internet while it finds all the new mail. I happened to go back to it and see that it was still "loading mail". Now it does it every time I open the app, and I can't seem to get it to stop. I hoped restarting/ powering on and off the phone would remedy it, but I turn off my phone at the end of the day every day, and when I turned it back on today, it was still doing it.

I have been having that problem as well. It started when I got my warranty replacement. No matter if I am on 3G,4G, or wifi. They are sending me a new one again. I am stock as well

Try accessing your email via a web browser. Look for any potential corrupt emails and delete them. Retry with your mail app

I started having problems with my MSN email earlier this week. Power consumption went through the roof. I had to delete the mail accounts and re-add them and things cleared right up.

I was still having trouble with it earlier today, but I just tried it a little while ago, and it seems to be working fine again. To my knowledge, I didn't change or do anything differently, so not sure what was causing it to stop working, nor do I know how I "fixed" it.
