Anybody else notice that, all of a sudden, the mail app has added badge support, as the message app always had? I don't know how it happened, but i'm glad that it did.

O.K. Here are the settings to activate the badges for the mail icon(it also works for the short-cut mail icons). This works with the "sounds". PERSONALIZE>SOUND SET>IMPUT ANY NOTIFICATION SOUND>DEFAULT NOTIFICATION>USE SAME SOUND AS "SOUND SET">MAKE SURE THAT YOU HIT "APPLY" AT EVERY STEP. Done! I still don't know why this works (i'm not an I.T.), but it does.
