Mail client that handles Exchange and POP3?

Hi,

I have Droid X with 2.2 OS. I have bug confirmed by Verizon where built-in mail client won't work if the host does not have SMTP authentication and the Exchange sync won't allow me to change calendar items on phone if they were made or edited elsewhere, also no tasks with that.

I'm trying Touchdown and K-9 but crave the consolidated inbox or at least one app to handle multiple accounts. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
