Using the stock mail app with my yahoo mail account. Tried sending an email last night that would not send, so I got a notification that it was unable to send. Since then I get the same notification every so often and I can't make it stop! What do I do?

I would try to delete that account and then sign back in and see if that helps.

are you using wifi? I too had sending problems and narrowed it down to using wifi on my comcast account. Comcast does not permit outbound smtp traffic on port 25. That was my problem at least. Try port 465 with SSL enabled for your outbound email which I think only works if you paid for Yahoo Plus.

Not using wifi...I already found out that using Yahoo through the stock mail app on wifi is a no-go. Im using port 465 with SSL already and after a couple test emails, its seems like everything is working fine EXCEPT when I try to send any email with attachments. If I try and send an email with a picture attached...it wont go through at all. It was all working perfectly till about midnight last night, and I havent changed any setting at all. Whats going on...?

Any solution here?

You pointed out that it all started after you tried to send an email with pictures attached and I realized the same is true for me.

The emails send find now but I continue to receive the error message.
