What do you guys think will be the main selling point of this phone? My guess is 4G LTE support will be the feature everybody wants.

Really want the big 4.3" screen on an HTC device.Liked the Incredible but even at 3.7" the screen seemed too small, especially since I'm giving up a physical keyboard. The Front Facing Camera is a close second feature I want to try out. LTE can wait but a lot depends on the rates and terms Verizon plans on charging.

I live in a place where 4g won't be around for years but I'm still interested because this is basically a droid x from htc. If the phone isn't locked down I will be making the jump

The large screen appeals to me, but I'm hoping its resolution is higher than 800x480. It is time to start expecting higher pixel density on high-end devices.

Other than that, HTC's build quality and Sense are selling points for me. I've owned phones with stock Eclair/Froyo, Touchwiz 3.0 (yuck), and now I want to see what the new Sense is all about.

I think the 4g will be a big selling point whether people are in an area with 4g or not. I like the 4.3 inch screen on an htc device i had the inc and loved it just the screen was a little small and the front facing camera is a nice addition also

alright who ever said i am not buying this better get the heck out of this forum topic!

Honestly I would not doubt that this device will have the same security as the desire hd/z and g2 given the time HTC has had prior to release it could be worse. But with no proof I guess I will have to wait and see. Here is to hoping for light security

I was actually torn. I voted for the 4.3" screen. I like the bigger screen, but haven't gone for the DX because of Blur and the lack of a physical keyboard. I know the DOLT doesn't have a physical keyboard either, but waiting on the Merge seems to be taking forever. Having Android 2.2 and the new Sense is a definite plus (another reason for preferring it over the DX). Having 4G/LTE is good, but not available to me yet. So there's really no advantage. For me, it's the 4.3 screen and Android 2.2. with the new Sense.

As a current droid x user, I am mostly looking for the lte. Not sure if I'll get it right away but I might depending on the rest of the final specs.

I voted "I am not buying this". So what? I'm allowed in this forum. I am just not impressed by anything this phone is bringing. It is going to have old hardware the same day it is announced when Moto, Samsung, and LG reveal their dual-core devices. Sorry guys, but I'll be passing this one up.

out of curiosity, what android device do you currently own?

none of this is 100% true but you just dowsed my hopes :(

Well, my work here is done. lol My hopes have been shattered too, as I prefer HTC and their Sense UI, but not enough to accept older technology. If it does actually have a dual core processor, this phone will be mine, if not, its, "hello, Moto", for me.
