Maintenance update with custom ROM

Anyone know what would happen if I try to apply the maintenance update with SkyRaider 3.3.3? I honestly didnt expect to receive the update notification being on a custom ROM, and now I keep getting the pop ups to update and it is really annoying.

I believe it would fail since you are running clockwork and clockwork blocks updates unless signature verification is off.

If it does go through it would probably fail at checking system integrity.

If I try to go through with the update and it fails, will I be able to just pull the battery or restart and boot up normally or will it brick my phone. Also, If I try to go with it, will the notifications stop?

If it doesn't fail your phone probably won't boot

If it does fail nothing will be changed.

There's a way to stop ota updates. Look at the stickies.

I did the file renaming that it says to do and rebooted and am still getting the update prompts.

Even if you used the regular htc recovery, it will fail with a status 7 error, meaning since there are things that are modified and removed from stock in sr, the ota cant patch items that arent there

Its going to be a real pain if I have to keep clearing the update notification. I found the official 2.2 ota.zip. If i load that , will it put my phone back to stock?

I can repackage sr for you...but im out now..can it waut for a bit...or you can just rename with adb

Im assuming by sr, you mean skyraider right? Also, do you mean you can repackage it to have those files renamed or repackage it with the update? Either way, that would be awesome. I would just hate to lose all of my settings and stuff. I have it set up perfect right now and am loving it... other than the recent update issue.
