Create a mms message and attach a ringtone (for me I have a 30 sec clip) I sent it to some one and while I opened up the message I sent tilt your phone to make the screen rotate. You'll actually hear an echo of the song play as if flip back again and you'll hear a third layer of an echo. It even happens before sending the message out, while you create the message and just before sending. Click the preview button.

What? If I understand what you said, if you click preview and listen to your tone, it will restart every time you tilt the phone in a certain direction (landscape or regular) but the original tone will keep going, creating an echo. Is that what you're saying? That doesn't really seem like a major bug like you describe it but I guess that can be inconvenient. Here's my suggestion:

Don't tilt your phone all over the place when you're listening to it.

I said when you create a mms message. The key here is when viewing a slideshow with audio added to it. You have to turn the phone landscape to view the photos and while u do (if u do it when the audio is playing) it will create an echo of the song playing. That is a major bug seeing as I use my phone for presentations, how could I then turn the phone to get widescreen photos without having the audio get messed up? It's a major bug and one that can't be dismissed as just not turning the phone.

That's like saying when you turn the wheel to a car the power steering makes a noise, well just don't turn the wheel then. Kinda difficult if its something that is used everyday.

While i cant get behind your comparing the phone issue to one involving the steering wheel on a car.. I can see how that would be a nuisance.. Thankfully while doing exactly as you said i did not experience it..

Oh ok... you know what now I understand what you mean. I just tried it and yeah I see what you mean. That is annoying. Well, actually it was kind of trippy for me. I used the song "Meatstick" by Phish and it was groovy. But yes I can understand how that would suck and it does seem like some kind of bug. But if it only happens when you're previewing or creating an MMS message, I guess I don't see how it's too big of an issue? Once it has been sent, is it still a problem? Maybe you should call HTC about it, although it's difficult to explain.
