major lag when streaming or playing music while on Bluetooth

When my turbo is paired to a device and either streaming or just playing music or video it becomes extremely laggy. To the point where it freezes and will not work. Often times this happens while simultaneously charging the phone but its not exclusive to that criteria. It's done it while off charger as well. Is this a heat issue? Too many things going on at once? Anyone else have this happen?

Is the entire phone freezing, or is it just the media playback? If the latter, is this only when streaming media over wi-fi, or even when playing locally saved media? The reason I ask is that sometimes Bluetooth can interfere with 2.4 GHz wi-fi channels.

It happens in my car. Even when I'm listening to music or watching a movie that is downloaded on my phone. If I plug it into the radio with an aux cable I have no issues. When I use Bluetooth audio my phone will freeze and become unusable. Like in the middle of a movie it will become laggy and eventually will go back to the home screen all by itself while the audio will still be playing. It also happens when just listening to music and using Bluetooth. The phone won't respond to touch commands and becomes laggy.

It only happens in the car? What if you're using a Bluetooth speaker or headset--does it still freeze?

I've never had it happen, but, just to see if this is the issue, what happens if you toggle WiFi off? (Even if you are not connected to an access point the radio may be trying to connect.) Does that make it any better?

Also, do you have the phone in a case? If yes, does it work better if you take the case off?

I have a life proof and a diztronic case. It's been tried in both and naked. Same results. I'll try toggling WiFi off and report back. Thanks!

No success. It seems to over heat when connected to certain Bluetooth devices. Honestly the only one that doesn't overheat it when connected are my lg tone's. Anything else causes the temp to spike to around 110 degrees.
