This all started yesterday when I couldnt log on to my synced yahoo mail account. Fine, I downloaded the yahoo mail app and all was well.

This morning I wake up to find I can no longer use wifi, similiar to what someone else just posted on here. When I try to search for wifi, it just goes into this mode of turning on and off wifi until i uncheck the box to search for wifi and a pop up window says "unable to scan for networks". No networks are showing as available. Ok great.

In ADDITION to these issues i intermitently get these pop ups saying "the application maps (process.com.google.androiad.apps.maps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" with a force close button. I also get the same pop up box for netflix, and google services framework. I am not using any of these programs when the force close comes up.

ALSO netflix isnt working....everytime i try to open it I get the force close message. Also, when trying other apps ie yahoo mail I sometimes cant use it and get the force closed message.

On the positive side I can still use my phone to make and receive calls.

I have 4.24.651.1 installed.

Any ideas what the %&*$# is going on?

Uninstalled netflix and groupon. tried uninstalling maps...couldnt. went to marketplace to try to reinstall netflix and groupon....cant even get on marketplace.....the loading message appears and thats it....never loads. also, I did get some kind of update to my dolphin browser, but now that is crashing and force closing. also, in two hours of being unplugged from my charger, my battery is almost dead. guessing this is because my phone keeps trying to connect with wifi and is stuck in that endless loop which I cant stop.

ok this is weird. i did the shut down that closes all programs and restarts the phone instead of "power off" and then manually powering on. This SEEMS to have solved my problems as I now have wifi and groupon, netflix (they were never removed from my phone evidently) and dolphin browser is working and I can access email.

any ideas what caused this problem?

Have you turned off 'Fast Boot'? If not, try turning it off - it seems to have solved problems for many people. It's the last option on the Menu->Settings->Applications screen.
