I've come to the point where I'm fed up with my RAZR being so slow after upgrading to ICS, so I decided that I'm going to factory restore and start fresh. I want to make sure that all my apps/settings are backed up, so that when I put them back on the phone I won't have to go through each and every one of the apps and re set all my settings. I use MotoCast USB to sync my music/pictures, and I assume Verizon back ups my contacts. So any idea about the apps/settings?

Not unless your rooted and use a program for backing up your apps and settings.

I did a factory reset, but didn't erase my pics or music. Wasn't a big deal because all your contacts and apps are backed by Google anyway. I had a couple issues right after the ics update in June, did the reset and they went away.. phone works great.

I'm not rooted and I used Mybackup pro. It's not perfect but my phone log, SMS, mms, and ringtones we're backed up and restored.

Alright so I did a FR, the phone is no longer laggy but now my battery is WORSE. Is music supposed to take up this much battery!?
