Make the multiwindow tab smaller

I'd like to make the multi-window drawer tab smaller, so that it doesn't stick out so much on the screen. I thought there was a way to do it, but I can't remember how now. Would someone please put me out of my misery?

The size of the tab is dictated by the ROM. You can, however, hold back to hide or show it.

Thanks. I thought there was a way to show it at half the width it's sticking out now. Must've been a dream.
