I thought about doing same. But with black back then make the glass white. I know on my first pixel the glass scratched super easy. It seems this year though it's actually gorilla glass 5

I had a Dbrand skin back when I had a Nexus 6, so I'm considering getting a skin for my black Pixel 2.

That way, if I feel like throwing on a case, I can still do so over the skin.

Great idea! I actually never thought of it before until someone mentioned this idea. Please share your results and experience because I would love to do that too. It will look awesome!
