Making phone faster.

Ok so i recently installed cyanogen 7 mod on my optimus t. I usually get 1000+ on benchmark tests. But i see all this **** about the optimus s and it getting 1500 on a benchmark test. I was just wondering if there was any way to make the phone any faster.

Just wondering where do you get cyanogen for Optimus T? AFAIK it is not listed on the supported devices list of the cyanogen site?

Someone in XDA is working on it. It's not official, but it's CM7.

Also with mik os kernel and stock rom OCed at 787 I get like 480s on quadrant lol...
