making pics/videos private?

I don't think there is any real way to. It's weird. Was a standard function on BB to encrypt/password lock the SD. Not so here. My only disappointment so far.

which makes the whole, password lock rather dumb. All data is on the SD and it is completely unsecured

I believe there are apps in the market which can do this. I don't use them myself so Im not sure the names, but you can search the forums for suggestions because i think this has been covered before.

Get astro file manager in app brain. install and open app. then find the file/folder you want to hide and rename it by putting a . in front of the name. (ex: .hidden)
then it will only show up in astro file app and not with the rest of your pics/vids.

OK, that thread said they had to be in a folder that had a . before the folder name. I was under the impression that it could be done for individual files which did not work for me.

Whew! That's cool. I didn't know that there is an app that will help you be able to keep files secured. Nice post. Anyway, can it be downloaded free or not? Good thing is that there are members who are willing to help. The payday loans I run to buy my iPhone will be useless if not because of your help. Thanks!

Just lock the whole gallery down using App Lock, problem solved.
