making screen actions more fluid-like???

i've done a few searches and haven't come up with anything yet... just wondering if there's a way to make the screen actions to me and look more fluid-like like the iphone... not a huge difference i know, but i just think the actions of the iphone look a lot smoother than the evo... any help is appreciated... thanks...

Root + install custom Kernel = remove FPS cap and smoother actions result (scrolling, going between screens, etc)

HTC Sense UI will sometimes get a bit sluggish if you have alot of widgets running or havent restarted your phone in a long time.

You can also look into alternative home replacements like Launcher Pro, ADW and others. Launcher pro is a bit more smoother and snappier than HTC sense imo but you can have both running at the same time if you like or maybe even more than 2 lol.
