Is there a way to actually control which toggles appear in the pull down menu? I just happened to notice that the flashlight is gone from mine. I'd love to know what I did to make that happen...

No, there isn't a way to do that--at least, not if you're unrooted. I would guess you can modify it by rooting the phone and using something like Xposed Framework (when it becomes compatible with Lollipop).

Odd that the flashlight would disappear. Are you having difficulties opening the Camera app? Others have noted this occasional bug, which usually clears up upon rebooting. If the Camera isn't functioning properly, your flashlight won't either, since they're tied together.

You can use Power Toggles and select the switches that you want. You can have a widget in your screen or/and a bar with them when expanding your notification bar.

Insane that they didn't make this customizable.

Well, kind of. I think there are some limits to how much "customizable" an OS can be. Specially with so many android brands and skins. Some of them even have their own toggles menu.

Most users are going to be more than happy with the stock/TW/Sense... options, and for the rest there are excellent apps (some of them free) in the Play store.

And that's without going the root way.

Yeah I guess that makes sense.

Sure enough, I got an error when trying to launch the camera. Rebooting took care of that and brought back the flashlight.

Isn't it a "feature" of 5.0 to hide the toggles that don't get used for a period of time?

Overall this like a baby feature that will hopefully grow up in the coming 5.x updates.

If you go into setting and search for said toggle, it looks like that will put it back in your quick settings. My "cast screen" went missing and I used the magnifying glass to search for it and that popped it back in there.

Whoa good tip.
