Manual Camera app

I saw this app on mobilesyrup and when I searched for it on my Note 4's google play I couldn't find it. But when I look at on the google play store online it says its there.. Does anyone know why I can't buy/use this on my Note 4?

It might not be compatible with your device.
See my screenshot below. I have a GS5 and it says it's not compatible.

No says it's not compatible with my version. I am going guess it only works with Lollipop.

camera fv-5 is kind of the same thing

Lollipop provided hooks to support camera settings such as RAW capture but the vendors have to provide drivers to make the connection to the new API and that hasn't been done for the Note 4 - that's why apps like Camera FV-5 (which I have) do not have the functionality available. Lollipop alone is not enough.

I have just installed it on my Samsung s6 edge need to learn to use the app better but happy I can manage shots like this now

It turns out after looking on the internet some more the Manual Camera app uses the new 5.0 API and I don't think Samsung directly uses the API for their camera instead they use their own, with the exception of the S6, then again it could just a bug and until we see 5.0.2 LP on the older devices we won't know.

I wish Sony released their own camera app.

In terms of options, that might be the best camera app thus far.

that's great, so Manual Camera works on the s6

is the shutter speed control working well? that's the only setting missing in the default camera's pro mode; would seriously consider the s6 if i can set a moderately fast shutter speed for street photography, e.g. 1/100s

how about autofocus speed within the app?

It's still needing some tweaking. Not working as well as it should be.. Hopefully they will fix it soon. Until then I'm using the default camera
