I'm new here from iPhone land, enjoying the 64GB Turbo. How can I map the location a photo was taken? And yes, assuming location is turned on when the pic was taken. I'm just using photo gallery right now, I'd rather not use Picasa. Is there a built in way? I'm OK with buying a good app, I don't want free junky apps with tons of ads or that spy on me.

Go into Camera Roll in Gallery, hold down on pic until it check marks, pull down menu upper right and select "show on map".

BTW, something I really miss from my HTC One: in the Gallery app there was a Locations option that pulled up a map with all my on-phone pics locations shown (a circle in each location showing the number of photos taken there). Clicking on the circle brought up all the photos taken there.

Well that would be awesome! But... I had enhanced / high accuracy location on when i took the pic below and this is that menu :( any ideas?

Well I don't have enough posts to post a link to a screenshot of that menu but I don't have that option.

I did find where Google Location Reporting is not enabled but menu only brings up help. I don't know how that got disabled or how to enable or if that matters for pics at all.

Here you go: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.levionsoftware.photos

That displays all your photos in a map. And of course in a grid...
