Try restarting both hardware and clear app cache
There is no heart rate monitoring through map my run
Is there a way to start tracking the workout from the watch rather than the app...so if the phone is stored you can just start it from the watch?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Android Central Forums App
After many many tries, the watch app has finally started to initiate a workout AND show data, AND show the pause button. I think by all of the ways I interacted with the watch (taking the app offscreen, then hitting the app icon again to bring it to the foreground) it cleared out something in a cache or something, as it's now working the way we would expect it to. I hope it continues to do that!
And maybe if i had uninstalled and reinstalled it would have worked.
Glad you got it working! I still can only get the app to show on phone when I start it on the watch. Starting it on the phone still does not start it on my watch.
Does anyone else's MMR 3.0.3 on their phone show ANY Bluetooth devices under Settings>Heart Rate, Other Sensors...>Heart rate>Connect? On the previous version mine did, but now it only says "Use ANT+". I can't find any option to tell it to use Bluetooth instead. I was able to connect to my Gear 2 before but I don't see anyway to do it now.
Has anyone been able to get the heart rate monitor to work with the MMR gear 2 app? I cannot. Please let me know how you were able to get it.
Marc
