maps and clock not showing for Now Bar

i am running UI 7 beta 3, i have both maps and clock enabled, yet i do not see the now bar on the lock screen.

here is my lock screen, as you can see there is nothing on the bottom

Are you running any timers/alarms/stopwatch at the moment or actively getting driving directions? Otherwise the bar doesn't show up.

oh, you were absolutely correct that both maps and timers need to be running for the Now Bar to work. Thank you very much for your help.

On a lighter note, I remember there were more items you could add to the Now Bar early on, but Samsung removed them for whatever reason. I hope they will be added back because they are very useful.

They did on the Beta and some are now relegated to the newer, stable version on the S25. It is kinda weird how limited it is even in its 'final' form, though (most reviewers note that).
