Maps location linking

Hi guys,

On my Pixel 4 when I had a calendar appointment or email with a location on it, I could click the link and it would instantly open Google Maps.

At the moment I can't seem to do it and I'm unsure how to get it back, can anyone help please?

For me this works and opens in Google maps.

Hmmm dunno what's broken. So I have a calendar appointment from am email which in the top of the appointment it shows the map but nothing I click on works. The link to make a call works.

If I go to the email it has the location on there but all I can do is open in Travel but then if I hit direct, it tries to open in the app but fails

Ah just tried a calender where I have manually entered the location and that works ok, but the one I'm trying is generated from an email as below

What if you tap the menu button at the upper right -- what options do you see?
