not to sound to silly but does anyone know how to shut off maps in applications? you hit force stop and within secs its back and running! thanks in advance, by the way love the phone so far!

Don't worry about it. Maps sits in the que for faster loading. It doesn't use any CPU cycles unless you are actually using it. You have plenty of RAM in the Photon..
