New Turbo, running 4.4.4 and can't find a way to mark all mail as being read. Haven't been able to find an answer anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Are you using the stock Email app or the Gmail app? The Gmail app doesn't allow you to select all--you have to multiselect (by tapping on the photo of the sender next to the email, which then activates the multiselect option). Then tap on the envelope icon, which toggles between Read and Unread.

The stock Email app typically doesn't have a select all feature either, although it might depend on the manufacturer.

I'm referring to the stock email app, although it appears it looks almost exactly like the G-Mail app now. In version 4.1.2 it look quite a bit different than it does now on 4.4.4

I haven't been able to find a way to mark all read and I'm thinking it's not possible. Just figured I'd ask.

I don't think there is a dedicated thread on this subject, but it has been discussed in another thread, and the consensus is that if you want this functionality, you're looking at a third part solution.

You can do this with "inbox". I got the invite from Google and have been testing it for about 3 weeks now. I totally love it. Didn't care for it at first. I can send you an invite, but I need your email address. I've never PM'd anyone in this forum so I'm not really sure how to go about it. It's here if you want one. Good luck either way.

If you could edit your reply and remove my email, I'd appreciate it.

Done. Sorry, wasn't even thinking about that when I posted. My apologies.

Does this mean google is going to release and update to add the Select All option in built in mail client?? I have held off getting the droid turbo partially for this reason.
