This button under tools only seems to work for me with Chrome browser. Firefox does nothing is that normal for others.

No help. Further I have noticed this problem using a very old version of Firefox which I prefer because many addons I like will not work on newer FF versions. This past weekend I loaded the latest FF version to check it out as many sites were giving me problems with my old version 56. My first try yesterday with the new version didn't reset but just tried again and this time it worked so must be the older version is the problem.

Thanks for updating yeah probably older version not compatible

Just tried using tools to mark forum read and again with latest FF threads are still showing unread so went to Chrome refreshed and it gave me threads with unread used tools and they cleared up. Something does not seem to work on FF browser on my laptop using win 8.1

@Bla1ze, here's something else that isn't working.

I've moved this thread to the Site feedback forum, since this is a bug in Android Central site, not a bug in your phone or PC software.

Seems to work fine on FF 105.0 for Mac and given it worked on one version but not on another and it working on Chrome implies it is a FF issue. I'll do some testing but it just worked for me on current versions of Chrome and FF.

Could it be related to Windows? The OP is running Windows 8.1, not MacOS. I also have only Windows and Android devices, nothing from Apple.

Certainly could be, I tested on MacOS, Windows 10 and Windows 11 and can't replicate the issue and nothing seems amiss in the logs. As always, if something can't be replicated, it makes it hard to track down and fix.
