Market Does Not Show All Apps

Hello,

I am having an issue which I see has been posted about before. When I got my Bionic last week, I used App brain to sync all of my apps off my Droid 2 and onto the Bionic.

All of the applications as well as several new ones show up in my now sync'd list w/ Appbrain for the Bionic, however the Market app only shows I have about 30 apps, many apps are missing off this list, I actually have 66 apps installed.

How can I get the Market app to recognize my 66 apps?

I have already cleared the data/cache from the Market several times, restarted, and nothing.
I also saw someone posted about removing the Apps2SD app, then clearing Market Cache and restarting, this also did nothing for me.

Any ideas?

Mike

how about when u go to your PC and look at "My account" on android market? are all your apps listed there?

Remember too, it's possible that some of your apps have been forbidden by Verizon. Tethering apps and some others have been blocked by your carrier so they won't appear on the Bionic's Market or install through the web Market.

Or the apps may not yet be compatible with the Bionic. The market won't show apps that aren't compatible with a phone. You may want to contact the app developers and find out. In some cases they might send you the apk file and you can sideload it.

I had that problem too. Then I realized that the Market was using a different e-mail that I have to access it.
I have three e-mails on my phone so when I went into accounts and change it back to my main e-mail account all of my apps were there.
Just go into settings and then accounts and if you have more then 1 e-mail account set up make sure the e-mail account that you bought or downloaded apps with is checked off.

Hello,

Thanks for all the responses. I am using my primary email for the Market, it is pointing to the account currently.

When I log in online I counted up the apps and there are 45.
The Market on my device says 32.
App brain, which seems to be the only one which is correct, says I have 66 apps installed.

I would agree that maybe some apps aren't yet supported, but 20 or 30 of them? Some that are missing from the device market and web market I use often, they seem to work well.

Any advice is appreciated.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the market app. You can also try to sync in app brain. That might get the market to see all your apps. If that doesn't work then give verizon support a call. Maybe they can give you a suggestion as how to get the market to see all your apps.
