Market force close after nandroid restore and ROM reflash

I restored a nandroid backup, and when i booted back up i was in a force close loop, so i booted into cwm and reflashed sc 2.9 and everything seems to be ok now except my market force closes when i try to install something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The link for the clockwork is down. If I have superclean 2.9 is that the correct clockwork? and also after following the directions in terminal emulator, where does cwm come in after that?

clock work is a recovery you boot into. this is where you will flash roms and kernels and themes and such. superclean is a rom not cwm.

oh ya i know, what I meant was that when I got sc 2.9, my clockwork was different. No longer had the error message in white, and I no longer had to go through blue recovery first.

Ya, if it changed your CWM then you'll have a good one in all likelyhood. Wasn't aware that SC came with a CWM. You didn't odin anything such as cwm_all?

i think dan includes it in his odin package.

No I didnt. I flashed 2.6 and 2.8 via droidxcons package in odin. Then i flashed 2.9 in cwm. And I believe there was something in 2.9 that changed the cwm that made recovery go straight to red. So Im just supposed to run #fxpms in terminal emulator? anything after that?

that wont work because you need to flash the file in the link that you said was missing. im going to try to upload it now, sorry its taking so long to get back but im at work....also you wont be able to get terminal emulator because your market wont open, you will have to use ADB

ok here is where im at..

i ran fxpms in terminal the first time when the file was on my sd card but i didnt see the part about flashing in cwm so it obviously didnt work.

so i flashed it in cwm then ran it again after it finishes it does not reboot on its own (not sure if its supposed to). I tested market, still FC. then i rebooted.

Market is still FC upon installation. Any ideas?

Thanks for all the help. Not having the market for a day is no biggie. I am a Mac user so I will have to stop by my friends house after work tomorrow and use his pc (i do all my odin'ing on it lol) and follow your thread on returning to stock di01.

A few more questions (Sorry if i should be posting these in a more appropriate thread)

So after I return to stock, I can ota to ea28 and then flash one of your data wiping packages for sc 2.9 in odin? I thought I read somewhere that the cwm that skips blue and goes straight to red doesn't work well with your packages, so i will have to flash that cwm in odin after I am on sc 2.9?

haha i went into manage applications>market>uninstall updates

and that seemed to fix it. im an idiot and im sorry for wasting everyones time. should have googled my problem and tried that first. time for some sleep!
