Market update (2.2.7)

Opened my market last night and was suprised to see the new format. I like it. I may be experiencing a placebo affect - it almost seems to load faster.

I'm definitely noticing that downloads are a bit faster now, which confirms my suspicion that it wasn't my network giving me problems in the past and was just the Market.

It's getting pushed silently by Google, from what I can tell there's really no way to force it other than manually downloading the APK.

Some issues with installing over existing market.

I would offer that you wait till you get the update OTA.

Alright thanks for the help. I try to download but says it is not supported for my phone for some reason. I did receive the new market update ota, however when I upgraded to froyo it went bavk to the old market...weird.

I just flashed SC 2.1 for EB01 and I have version 2.2.11 of the market. Is this the latest version?

My apps didn't update automatically, but I had the option to "Update All".

huh. they jsut started, before i knew it i got a notifacation that 24 apps just got restored. i went to the market and like 6 more were downloading.

Well I'm still not sure if 2.2.11 is the latest update, but go to settings > applications > manage applications > all > market

It will show you the version number you have installed. I also read that if you clear data and cache then reboot it should update.

According to the xda thread 2.2.7 is the new version, but the op in that thread was from December 17 so I don't know.

maybe it is maybe its 2.2.1.1 and the couldnt do that many ... so they shorted to 2.2.11

Bought my fascinate the first day it was available. I did receive an update to my market in either December or January to it's current version which is 2.2.11
