marking forum read

When I select Mark Forum read, the page reloads but the number of unread articles stays the same, I am showing as logged in.

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this to the Site Feedback forum. Are you using the forum website, or one of the apps? Do you mean unread threads, or are you referring to the blog articles?

I am using the Samsung S8 and S8+ forum with IE 10, the list of messages show the number of unread messages for each topic. In the past when I clicked on tools and then Mark this forum read the number of unread messages cleared, now they do not, they are still showing as unread.

Just to add another data point, I normally use MS Edge on Win10 to browse the forums. I often need to do the "mark read" twice to get the proper behavior. Over time I have needed to do this less frequently, suggesting that server software updates are slowly fixing the problem.

I routinely use Chrome, so I wonder if it's an Edge/IE10 issue. Do you have this problem if you use Chrome or Firefox on your PC?
