I read through 3 sub-forums on here regularly. My routine is to go to the first one, Android Applications and scan through to see what new threads have been created. The ones I have not read are bold. After I scan through, read what I want, I mark the forum as read. Then all the threads that I have not read are not bold any longer.
I then go to the next sub-forum I read, The Epic 4G Touch. I do the same thing.
Then, later in the day or another day I come back and repeat the process. I expected all unread threads in all the sub-forums I visit will be bold. However, it seems when I go to these sub-forums, I have some threads that are both bold and "un-bold" that are new since my last visit.
Can someone explain why some threads that I have not read are bold and others aren't?
