Marks under glass

I have noticed strange marks under the glass on my Maxx. They are horizontal lines, or scuff marks, that can only be seen at certain angles.



See the dark marks on the screen in the picture.

Is this normal?

I don't have any experience with this phone, but I wouldn't say it was normal. Is it an old phone? has it had any water damage?

This is a replacement I just got from VZ (2 days ago) under warranty. My original stopped working.

I'd send it back and get a replacement for the replacement

I've had two dots on my display with the same appearance as your "line". I just ignored them as best I could. Oddly, I dont see them at the moment.

VZ is saying that as long as they are not affecting the screen quality, they consider it a good screen and will not replace it.

Anyone else see this on their screen?
