Marshmallow 6.0 alarm ringtone

So apparently with the Marshmallow update I can no longer set my music as my alarm ringtone anymore, either that or I'm missing something.

When the phone was running Lollipop I was able to set my music as my alarm ringtone, the alarms I had in Lollipop still use the song I chose. It's just that now I went to go make a new alarm for an event I have coming up, but I'm only allowed to choose from the stock ringtones for the alarm.

I'm not saying the stock ringtones are bad or anything, I just prefer my own music to be used as the alarm.

Have you tried using a file manager to copy the music file to the Alarms directory in Internal Storage?
