Marshmallow Doze not wok on my Moto X Play, how can I get it working?

Marshmallow Doze not working - Moto X Play

Recently bought a Moto X Play - updated it to Marshmallow.

When I go to Battery Optimisation and select All Apps, it tells me all apps are being optimised however if I press back or home, then go back into battery optimisation, it tells me nothing is being optimised and I have to optimise all apps again

So therefore Doze doesn't really turn on - what do i do?

App optimisation and doze is diffrent. App optimisation will detect an app that you rarely use and puts them to sleep for good until you use it again.

While doze puts your phone on sleep when no movement is detected. They are diffrent.
