AC Question

So I have Nexus 6P with Android 6 (Marshmallow) and I can't find a way to switch it to vibrate only mode without doing that on all the apps manually (ridiculous). It only has a "total silence" mode which is good, but not very useful when you need the vibro only too.

Welcome to the forums. One way I know how is to click volume up or down once, and then you should be able to click the sound icon on the left. That should put everything into vibrate mode.

It isn't working for me, any help please? It wont let me put it on vibration, only silent
Did you follow the instructions in the second post? That seems to work fine for me.
Do you have a different device than the Nexus 6P?

Yes, i have a Moto x play but It has the same version of Android marshmallow as the Nexus 6p
So when you click the volume button (either up or down) and then touch the little bell icon that's to the left of the volume slider, what do you see?
Apparently you're not seeing the transition from the bell icon to the vibrate icon (as shown in the attached screenshots).

Well, my 6P is running Nougat (has been for a long time) and I have no idea what the behavior was like when it was running Marshmallow.
You should repost your issue in the Moto X Play forum and see what others there have to say.
If it doesn't behave correctly in Safe mode it's possible that a Factory reset will correct the behavior but it's better to check with other similar device owners first.
