Marshmallow ui tuner issue [Note 5]

I just installed 6.0 on my note 5. I tried to activate the ui tuner but cannot due to still having the old status bar. The new one is supposed to display your Google profile pic but mine does not. I called Verizon but that were clueless to everything I was saying.

Welcome to Android Central! The UI Tuner might be specific to Nexus devices only. But you also have to make sure you haven't turned off animations in the Developer Options menu--if you did, then turn them back on, and try again.

Hmm that's a good point, I'll look into that. Next question. Before the update when I clicked the power button it would go right to the lock screen with the pattern. Now, it goes to a screen that I need to swipe, then it will go to the lock screen. It will do this with every lock method, not just pattern. I've messed around with the lock screen and security setting for hours but no luck

May need to reboot or look for an answer in another thread. I've seen it, but can't remember where. I don't have the issue you're having. So, it's just a guess.
