I went on Twitter and Alcatel doesn't even have an answer about a Marshmallow update. I don't think it will get one. They should have some sort of idea by now.

Looks like Alcatel is now saying the date for a Marshmallow rollout for the Idol 3 is the end of May.

I really hope we'll get Marshmallow, but I'm not sure at all it'll happen anytime soon for us with Telus in Canada...

Does anyone know how it works if you are on Cricket. Do you get the update from Alcatel or do you have to wait for Cricket to push it (if at all)? I'm stock (not rooted). Thanks

Did a reset yesterday on my daughter's Idol 3 4.7. There was a software update available. The message read that you needed to install this update for the Android M update that's coming soon.

Any update on this? Has anyone received an update yet? I've already switched to the Nexus 6P but I still have my Idol 3 laying around.

Well I just scoured their Twitter account and now they aren't even giving a date anymore. The only reply about this that they are giving to people is "stay tuned" smh..
