Mass Storage Option

How do you use the galaxy tab 7.0 plus as a mass storage device. I could copy books from my computer to the tablet drive by simple copy paste, but i am unable to do so for music and movies. Samsung support says I have to use kies....but then it is just going the apple way of using itunes for everything?....if there is no plug and play does it not spoil the game?

I tried attaching the tab at work. This time i also had the micro sd card installed. I could not even copy data to the micro sd card.....

Can this issue be solved and can kies be bypassed? kies runs very slow on my pc....if kies is the only option i better get an apple ipad as itunes is like a flicker on my pc

I'll investigate tonight when I get off work. There must be a way, but as we all know Samsung is a big fan of doing things a half-a$$ apple way.

I downloaded the software on the Samsung site for the 10.1 tab. Nothing was there for the 7.0 plus yet. Once I did that, just plugging in my tab launched the file explorer Window showing "tablet" and "card" just drag and drop...
